Pride Bowl

My husband and I headed to Costco for supplies. Goodies in hand we then head to Newark, NJ to watch NAVY beat army in the Pride Bowl at the beautiful Riverfront Stadium! I didn't even know it existed until today! Here is where you are all going to be BLUE with envy! We sat WITH the Mids!!! Those outrageous cheerleaders were right there in front of my nose!
There were Mids to my right, behind me and next to me, on my left was my husband so I can't really complain! You know how I was dressed Navy this and Navy that! I also brought my flag with our Mascot and NAVY in BIG letters!

At this point my son would have just said there's my Mom! Then I noticed a Newark Police Woman. Guess what, she is the Proud Mom of a Mid, you can just tell! So, she pointed out where we were going to have a tailgate and together with some other parents who had gathered we fed as many as we could muster. They said thank you and I said "hope you all know how PROUD you make us"!

The only sad point of the day was that my Mid was back in Mother B without an MO! I think I am obsessed! Navy's uniforms, Mids, cheers, players, coaches, and fans are just sooooooooo much better! Is it me? Maybe it's just that swelled head under that NAVY cap!
